The Writers Guild Strike
Most people are aware of the Writers Guild strike going on. I ran across this video a few weeks ago and just remembered it tonight.
My first impression is that what they're asking for is reasonable and that the companies denying them the pennies they're asking for are being a bit ridiculous. Although, I've seen most of Michael Moore's films and I understand how you can skew the facts to appear to support your story when in actuality they don't support you any more than those you oppose.
I'm definitely not saying that the Writers Guild is wrong or doesn't deserve what they're asking for… I'm just curious what the other side of the story is. I haven't seen a video response from the producers/networks.
But then again, who would write it for them?
