Celebramos

Lately, another 7 days means it's time for another long weekend.

Friday night we met with a would-be photographer who we almost immediately knew was the photographer we wanted to use. His price was right and his photos are beautiful. If you're ever in the area and in need of a professional photographer, check out Ritch Photography. We're giving him our deposit check this week, so you'll see him at the wedding.

From there, we drove to Adam's apartment up in Deleware somewhere. Forgive me, I'm still not too good with all the town names. Saturday Megan went to lunch and then dress shopping with Mom Rhodes, Beth, Erin, and Grandma Bastuscheck. Amazingly, she decided on the very first dress she tried on – after trying on many others, from what I hear – and even picked out bride's maids' dresses! Of course, other than the one picture I saw of those dresses, I can't say too much about them: Strapless, Lilac, Beautiful. Obviously I haven't seen nor heard a peep about the wedding dress. That'll have to do. ;)

While all of this was happening, I was lounging around in Adam's wonderfull leather La-z-boy recliner watching HBO On Demand to my heart's delight.

That night we had a lot of fun out to dinner with the usual suspects: Zach, Erin, Adam, Steve, and Beth – in counter-clockwise order. Dave couldn't make it because of work. We ate at the Iron Hill somethingorother, and then walked up to Caffé Gelato for dessert. (They misspelled Café, not me!)

Fast forward to breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Bastuscheck at Mom & Dad Rhodes' house. From what I hear, the sticky buns are excellent. Cora's Dedication during the 11:00 church service was great, and there were a diaper full of family pictures taken. Megan has all of ours, so once I get them from her I'll put them up in the photo album.

Lastly, you'll notice a new section on the right side-bar: a countdown until our wedding day. It's been requested by more than one person, and as long as it's not freaking us out because there are only X days left and we still have to do this, and this, and this… then it'll be there until the big day.
