Camera Ailment
Yesterday we spent the entire day in Philadelphia. We got up entirely too early (6:30), caught an 8:15 train in to town, and didn't arrive back at the train station until almost 9:00 pm. Moxie really had to go potty. We spent the day at the Franklin Institute, and after much debate and even more walking, had dinner at the Olive Garden. While the Olive Garden is a fairly normal restaurant, it's not one we have the opportunity to patronize often all the way out here in the boonies – which was a large part of the criteria for our selection.
After all was said and done, my legs are tired. So tired.
I managed to get (ready?) THREE. Decent. Pictures… before my camera totally went on the fritz. It was turning itself off before I went to take a picture – but without closing the lens; not turning on when asked to (even if I asked politely and added a cherry on top!); and generally just doing everything in its power to frustrate me. I'm ready to throw it away.
