I did it! Woo hoo! I made it! The whole … first week!

Before it was all gone, I had to document the color of Nublet's room against the contrast of the shade of blue we're painting it. Megan swears it was blue before, while I say it was an awful sea-foamy green like a dirty fish tank. The previous owners of our house had horrible taste in colors, and did a poor job at … just about every improvement they made to the house.
Every color they painted was a primary color or darn close to it. They cut corners painting — maybe they don't know what painters tape is? They cut corners in finishing the basement office — who needs the door to close, or for that matter, a door to separate the office from utilities at all? And they cut corners wiring the ethernet jacks into that office — who needs insulated wires?
Hopefully, besides documenting the arrival and first months of Nublet's life, I'll also get to fix more of these cut corners (and document it) this year.
