the new place
I figure it's about time for some sort of a small update on how things are going with moving and the new place.With a some help from friends and family, we packed most of our furniture, and most of life's little necessities – like toothpaste, for example – into the borrowed truck and trailer and headed off for PA. This was my first time towing a trailer full of my own money (in a manner of speaking), so I was cautious – to make the understatement of the year. But we made it, safe and sound.
Sunday, with more help from a different part of the family, we unloaded all of it in a matter of hours… leaving plenty of time for lunch and QT with our family, including our beautiful niece Cora!
Moxie and Ollie are taking the move in stride, for the most part – though Moxie is as wound-up as ever. Once we all get adjusted to our new surroundings, I think we'll all be happier and glad to have moved.
We'll try to get some photos of the new place up soon… there's just so much going on that we don't always think about it. :)
