On the topic of camping
We're already a week into June and I'm feeling a bit lazy because we still haven't written anything about our camping trip or put up the pictures. I may be avoiding the pictures out of a subconcious desire for people not to see just how gross my hair can get when I go for 3 days without washing it and forget my hat. I'm sure you'll see them eventually, so I'll probably just put them up when I go home for lunch today. If I remember. ;)The trip was lots of fun, as if you would expect any less of us. We met up with Zach, Adam, and Dave at the campsite late Friday afternoon and pondered how to pull the pop-up into our (supposedly) "pull-through" campsite. Good friends, cold beer, warm fire, great food – including an awesome steak dinner and an impromptu scrapple sandwich breakfast, and lazy days in the hammock. The pictures can fill you in on the other details.
On an unrelated note, the countdown is down to 101 days and things are still pretty surreal around here. Both of us are antsy for September to come – all this waiting is driving me nuts. People were surprised when we told them how soon we were getting married, but I can't imagine waiting any longer!
Update: The pictures from both the camping trip and the Memorial Day BBQ have been posted! Check them out!
